Yes, I am indeed a iOptron dealer.  It was because of the personal success that I had with a GOTONOVA upgrade kit that I purchased from iOptron that caused me to chase them down and ask to become a dealer for that product.  Once the Mini Tower arrived I saw its potential and ordered one.  Once I was totally satisfied that it was a product that I could offer with no regrets I decided to carry it.

I have been a GEM guy since day one.  I’ve always scoffed at the Alt/Az mounts as being less than desirable.  Now, I may just need to open up and serve myself a big helping of Crow Pie!  Ask any of my friends and they will tell you that I very rarely will get up on a soap box for any product!  It’s just not my style.  When I do get worked up over something, then they know that it is worth checking out.

I am definitely placing myself in the consumer’s shoes, first!  I’ve been around astronomy since I was knee-high to a Coke bottle and they still sold for a nickel!!  I’ve seen a lot of “stuff” that I would never own and I’ve owned a lot of stuff that made me sorry to have owned it  My first priority is that if I won’t own it, personally, I will not sell it to my clients!  I will not just ship boxes, either.  I make certain that each and every unit meets MY standards through rigorous testing, before I allow it to be sent to my clients.  Each unit comes with a paper that shows the tests conducted as well as an actual observing report from that test.  To my knowledge, we are the only Company that field tests each Mini before it is shipped to the customer.

I hope that this quells your thoughts of me being only interested in selling the product.  If anyone has doubts about my sincerity to provide a top notch product as well as the best service available, I would prefer to pass on that sale.  It’s my word that goes with every sale and to me, that means more than money.
