This rather experienced SCT mount and wedge is sitting atop the venerable Golden Pyramid tripod. This tripod is more solid and steady than just about anything currently on the market. Something this robust would today cost much more than what we are asking for the complete assembly.
The mount has been extensively modified by an earlier owner. It has shaft encoders and other things mounted. Some of them we have no idea what they are. The mount was used for imaging in the mid to late 80's. The original owner was way ahead of the crowd when he did this.
The Great House Cleaning Project has added this to the list of things that need to go. If you are interested in a real project, or need parts for your Criterion 8" SCT, then you will find everything that you need with this item. The tripod alone is worth the asking price of $300.00!
