We have had many clients ask us if there is a better way to get a grip on the DEC/ALT clamping knob. Many of our clients with arthritus or weaker hands have found it hard to get a good purchase on the DEC/ALT knob and cannot achieve a good lock on that axle. We have done a few modifications for clients and they worked very well. Therefore, we now offer the modified DEC/ALT axle clamping knob for everyone.
If you have a bino-viewer or heavy eyepieces or just find it difficult to get a good grip on this knob, we have the solution.
We make up special stainless steel spokes which we then install into the factory knob. These spokes provide several magnitudes of gripping power when compared to the original knob.
We will send the new modified knob to you. When you receive it, just send the old one back. That way you will not have any down time with your Mini Tower. If you are having a long period of cloudy weather you can send your knob to us and we will make the modifications to it and send it back right away.
