EVERY Mini Tower™ that we provide is fully FIELD TESTED before we ship them. That means that we actually take YOUR MOUNT out, set it up and run it through a real world observing session. Once it passes the test we provide a field test report that is included with your particular mount.
Did you get your Mini Tower™ elsewhere and does it need a tune-up? We can help with that. Just see the SERVICES page for details and pricing. We will make certain that the bearings and gears all have complete lubrication with a very high-end synthetic lubricant. We'll adjust the slack out of the bearing blocks, and we'll make certain that every threaded hole is clean and that all fasteners are properly seated. On the Ultra Tune-Up, we'll replace the budget-conscious tapered roller bearings with high-precision tapered roller bearings and races, adjust the pre-load tension on the bearings do field testing and provide a complete field test report.
